Polka Dot Cat dedicates 2013 to Celebrating Marie Antoinette and enjoying Cake.

In the brands search for beauty and fashion, Polka Dot Cat travelled back to the 17 hundreds and stopped to embrace French fabrics, lace and the flora of the Versailles Gardens. The designer Rana Jamshed decided to taste fresh baked macaroons, French tea and cake in her journey and who better to invite for tea than Marie Antoinette.

Celebrating Marie Antoinette is a new chapter for the designer, as she had to travel back in time and study the history of textile that tells a story in each yard. Polka Dot Cat 2013 collection includes a modern hint of this era with its choice of silks, lace, tassels, pearls and ribbons. As the eighth season is achieved for the designer, she is proud to have reached a global influence for Polka Dot Cat with a focus on the Gulf.

Polka Dot Cat is launching its latest collection at House of Fraser this year, the brand actively participates in trade shows, fashion shows and was recently part of the VIP Grand Prix, where selected dresses from the latest collection were chosen by celebrities: Danni Minogue, EVE, Eva Simons and Leona Lewis.
